आँखों में पढ़ लिया करती है,
इन्टरनेट के ज़माने में भी वो
इश्क किताबों वाला करती है I

उसे पसंद नहीं है WhatsApp पर
हर वक़्त बाबु शोना करना,
जबरदस्ती विडियो कॉल पर अपनी
cuteness की पुंगी बजाना,
वो इत्मिनान से आज भी
मुझे ख़त लिखा करती है,
इन्टरनेट के ज़माने में भी वो
इश्क किताबों वाला करती है I

वो कहती है की लिखे हुए
लफ़्ज़ों में रूह होती है,
खतों में भी लिखने वालोंकी
खुशबू होती है,
वो आज भी मेरे खतोंसे
मेरी खुशबू पहचान लिया करती है,
इन्टरनेट के ज़माने में भी वो
इश्क किताबों वाला करती है I

Vo itminan se aaj bhi

mujhe khat likha karti hai

Ishq kitabon wala karti hai.

Vo kehti hai likhe hue

alfazon mein rooh hoti hai,

Khatoon mein bhi

likhne walon ki khushboo hoti hai,

Vo aaj bhi mere khaton se

Khushboo pehchan liya karti hai,

Internet ke jamane mein bhi vo
